On the brighter side of things G and I built his sandbox that I got many moons ago for $40! Now I just to get out and get sand.

Preschool Dropout
Well technically he just didn't make it off the wait list so we don't know where he is going in the fall. I just found out they finished registering at the school and after being on the list since he was one, he did not get a spot. My playgroup has a co-op preschool that starts next week so I'm not sure we'll make it in that either. For both of our sakes I hope I find something soon.

Rattlesnake Easter
We spent Easter weekend camping in the desert with the Bentley Grandparents. The drive over wasn't too pleasant. It was three hours of crying and whining and one hour of quiet when G finally fell asleep at 9pm!
We were there with a bunch of other camping friends too. G was so excited to go to the desert and play on the motorcycles, fly planes, and play in the dirt. He spent a lot of time sitting on the quad we borrowed from his friend Ian. He also played ball with the dogs and ran around exploring. Here he is enjoying happy hour:
Jammin' with Grandpa

Nice hair!
Oskar and Chelsea had fun roaming freely and exploring until we discovered the rattling rattlesnake! On Saturday Dave, his Mom, and I were hiding plastic easter eggs around camping when Dave and his Mom found a rattle snake. Oskar was a few feet away and Dave was screaming to get the dog so he wouldn't attack the snake. Luckily Oskar didn't figure out there was an animal. He probably thought it was a sprinkler in the desert like I did!! G was unaware of what was going on. Obviously we moved the eggs to the wide open away from bushes. G gave up on the egg hunt half way through, but seemed to enjoy himself.

The target is in sight.
It was a hot hot weekend and G refused to nap the two full days we were there. I put him to down to nap the second day without his sleep sack and the little monkey climbed up on to the table in the motorhome to get a closer look at Grandpa's plane. Apparently the pack n play is no match for my little climber. Here is how I found him:

The toy hog
Apparently Gigantor does not know how to share. He does know how to throw a fit and scream and cry when his friends play with his toys though. He has mastered that a little too well. His friend Connor (who was born on the same day), came over today. Anytime Connor wanted to play with a toy all of a sudden Gigantor had to have that toy. Little cars, big cars it didn't matter he's an equal opportunity toy hog. Gigantor does fairly well sharing at other kid's houses, but I need to invite more people over to our house!

Surprise surprise!
Okay it's been a while since I've updated the blog, but I plan to backtrack and fill in the gaps. We moved into the house at the end of January and it's been crazy ever since. We started with epoxying the garage floor. Ever since and STILL we are tiling the kitchen floor. I say "we" but I mean mainly Dave and his Dad. To experience my angst with home improvement projects, visit the house blog.
However the big news I have to share is that Gigantor is going to be a big brother at the end of August! In April we find out if he is going to have a little brother or sister. I'll definitely update as soon as we know!
